Susana Balbo ‘Crios’ Cabernet Sauvignon
WHY WE LOVE IT
- This Cabernet Sauvignon originates from the renowned Valle de Uco region, in Mendoza.
- The vines thrive at an average elevation of 1,050 m/3,445 ft above sea level, which contributes to the wine’s exceptional quality.
Varietal: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Elaboration: Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented at a maximum temperature of between 28 and 30°C. Maceration for 25 days. 40% of the wine is aged in third and fourth-use French oak barrels for 8 months.
Tasting Notes: Intense red color with aromas of ripe plum and tomato leaves. On the palate, black fruits, black pepper, and blueberries harmoniously stand out. Ripe, vibrant tannins provide an elegant structure and a long, persistent finish.
