Susana Balbo ‘Crios’ Torrontés
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Crios Torrontés comes from the high Andean vineyards of Valle de Uco and Cafayate. Susana, known as the “Queen of Torrontés,” has transformed this grape into Argentina’s premier white varietal.
- Crios symbolizes family bonds with its logo and is committed to quality, sourcing grapes from Argentina’s best regions.
- The brand also supports community initiatives, including breast cancer awareness and emergency housing in Mendoza, donating part of sales to these efforts.
Varietal: 100% Torrontés
Elaboration: Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks using selected yeasts at a maximum temperature of 12-14ºC (54-57ºF). The wine is then aged on the lees for three months to enhance its structure.
Tasting Notes: A crisp, refreshing and aromatic Torrontés with notes of citrus, passion fruit, lychee and white flowers. A lively acidity, a hint of creaminess and a long finish add depth and balance to the palate.
