Varietals: Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro
Elaboration: The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyard and destemmed. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. Approximately 30% of the wine is aged in 500-liter French oak barrels for about 12 months.
Tasting Notes: It displays a deep ruby color, with aromas of blue fruits, plums, and blackberries, accompanied by subtle floral and spicy notes from its aging in wood. With a well-defined structure, it reveals smooth yet firm and well-integrated tannins. It boasts lively acidity and a long, elegant finish.

Taboadella is a renowned wine estate in Portugal’s Dão region, famous for its high-quality, terroir-driven wines. The Amorim family has been involved in the wine industry since 1870, starting with the sale of cork. Today, under the leadership of Luisa Amorim, since 1999, the family is recognized worldwide for cultivating wines at notable estates in the Douro and Dão regions, particularly at Taboadella. Here, they produce Boas Uvas, a “fun and fresh” wine line that is more accessibly priced.
