WHY WE LOVE IT
- Young and fresh wine, with a strong character linked to the license territory, born from the union of two local vines, Sangiovese (90%) and Colorino (10%) which integrate each other providing the first structure and the second a red color ruby .
- Pleasant wine, it presents well for daily consumption due to its freshness and fragrance and maintains.
Varietal Composition: 90% Sangiovese Grosso, 10% Colorino
Elaboration: Spurred cordon vine training. Manual dry pruning, manual de-femming and dissolving, manual bunch thinning, manual grape harvesting. Soft pressing of the bunches, maceration duration 15 days, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel vats with automatic temperature control. 6 months aging in steel vats. Minimum 1 month bottle refinement.
Tasting Notes: Brilliant ruby red color. Perfume mineral and floral aromas. Harmonious taste, medium body with silky tannins and clean finish.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND
Since 1995 the winery has been managed by Giovanni Ciacci, who has since been joined by his children Andrea and Francesca in the areas of business and agronomic management. For the Ciacci family, traditional aging in big oak barrels and renewed vineyard management based on climatic changes and in favor of the territory constitutes the best strategy to obtain wines that best express the territory of Montalcino.
Their property extends over about 200 ha including 30 ha of vineyards of which 13.07 ha are registered to DOCG to produce Brunello di Montalcino, 7.4 ha to Rosso di Montalcino DOC and 10.86 ha are registered to S. Antimo DOC. The remaining area is mostly covered by olive groves, 45 ha and grain, 55 ha.
