The Other Right ‘Multicolored Sunrise’ Pinot Gris
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Multicolored Sunrise is a vibrant, skin-contact Pinot Gris recognized for its striking, electric pink hue.
- This wine is made from organically farmed Pinot Gris grown by Mike and Margaret Sparrow in Mt. Torrens, Adelaide Hills.
- It is produced with minimal intervention — hand-picked, wild-fermented, and unfiltered.
Varietals: 100% Pinot Gris
Elaboration: Pinot Gris grapes were destemmed and transferred to a fermenting vessel, where spontaneous fermentation occurred. Afterward, the wine was pressed directly into aged French barrels for a 9-month maturation, then bottled.
Tasting Notes: Watermelon juice merrily marries red apples and a faint vanilla bean, lightly wrapped in the softest tannins.
