The Set Select Pinot Noir

The Set Wines Select Pinot Noir

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • Select Pinot Noir is a small-production, organically farmed red wine from the Sta. Rita Hills of California’s Santa Barbara County.
  • Structured, mineral-driven, and built to impress.
  • The winemaker picked a few special barrels for the Reserve Pinot Noir from a few single standout parcels at the estate’s Hines Drum Canyon vineyard.
  • Planted to a mix of domestic and French clones.

Varietal Composition: 100% Pinot Noir

Elaboration: Fermented for 16 days in concrete tanks, with gentle extraction due to the extreme heat during harvest. The wine was aged for 7 months in neutral French oak barrels, then transferred to stainless-steel tanks for 1 month before bottling.

Tasting Notes: A light, aromatic, and structured wine. It offers strong minerality with vibrant red fruit flavors, culminating in a versatile, food-friendly profile.
