WHY WE LOVE IT
- Sourced from Riverland, where the soils consist of ancient, sandy limestone.
- This has become one of UZ’s most cult-followed wines since they began.
- It’s not exactly white wine, nor red – many call it Orange or Amber wine…but they just call it Esoterico.
- Vegan friendly.
Varietal Composition: Fiano, Zibbibo, Moscato Giallo, Gewurtztraminer, Greco
Elaboration: Fermented on skins for two weeks. Matured for a year in large 3000L casks. No fining or filtration.
Tasting Notes: Primary aromas of mandarin peel, black tea and rosehip. Mouthwatering acidity and ‘say hello!’ tannins. It’s a Bohemian at heart.
