Varietal Composition: 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Carmenere, 4% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot

Elaboration: Aged 20 months in French oak (70% new).

Tasting Notes: Deep, intense, and opaque ruby red. e nose shows an attractive, fresh, and layered bouquet of ripe cassis, wild strawberries, and blackberries, associated with hints of cedar and spices, fine notes of vanilla, walnut, liquorice, and cacao. Dense and generous, the wine fills the mouth with ripe, smooth, and refined tannins, leaving an overall impression of balance, elegance, and persistence.

Viña Almaviva is a prestigious winery in Chile, renowned for its Bordeaux-style red blend, which primarily features Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maipo Valley. This winery is a collaborative venture between Château Mouton Rothschild from France and Concha y Toro from Chile. This collaboration, which combines the expertise of Baron Philippe de Rothschild with the unique Chilean terroir of Puente Alto, showcases a perfect blend of French winemaking techniques and local characteristics.
