Viñedos Hermanos Hernáiz
Viñedos Hermanos Hernaiz is a respected wine producer in Baños de Rioja, Spain, led by brothers Eduardo and Víctor Hernaiz since 1996. Located at 570 meters above sea level, the vineyards benefit from a mix of Atlantic and continental climates. Its flagship vineyard, Finca La Emperatriz, has unique soil composed of loose white boulders over sandy loam, which enhances the freshness and acidity of its wines.
The estate spans 110 hectares and features old vines that average 60 years in age. Among its vineyards, 32 hectares are classified as Viñedo Singular, a prestigious designation for Rioja wines. Located at the historic Finca La Emperatriz Estate, formerly owned by Empress Eugénie de Montijo, the winery is dedicated to producing elegant, terroir-driven wines. It achieves this through a blend of traditional and modern winemaking techniques.
