- The winery is located in the Burgenland municipality of Großhöflein on the southern slope of the Leithaberg in the Leithaberg wine-growing region.
- Esterhazy Blaufränkisch grapes thrive in the beautiful St. Georgen, Großhöflein vineyard, where the rich loamy soil with gravel creates the perfect environment.
- These exceptional, vegan grapes are sustainably grown using organic practices.
- The vines are over 30 years old.
Varietal Composition: 100% Blaufränkisch
Elaboration: Grapes are selectively hand-harvested, followed by traditional must fermentation with punching down and flooding of the cap. 10 days skin contact.
Tasting Notes: Intense purple-red in color. Aromas of blackberry, sour cherry and rose hips. Flavors of violets and black pepper with a lively acidity and velvety texture.
