WHY WE LOVE IT
- Carefully selected parcels of grapes were sourced from a selection of renowned Shiraz vineyards in premium Australian wine regions, primarily McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek in South Australia
Varietal Composition: 100% Shiraz
Elaboration: Selected Shiraz grapes were destemmed and crushed prior to parcels undergoing primary fermentation. A small percentage of the wine is then matured for 9-12 months in a blend of French and American Oak. 10% of which are new.
Tasting Notes: Rich fruit of blackberry, cassis, and blueberry display gracefully on the palate of this medium-bodied Shiraz. Soft tannins with bright acidity make this wine an effortless go-to for a daily drinker. Drink this wine year-round, with a slight chill during the summer months to satisfy your red wine cravings.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND
Woop Woop, which is Australian slang for the middle of nowhere, is a project from winemaker Ben Riggs, who is responsible for literally hundreds of excellent Australian wines made over the last couple of decades. With minimal oak treatment, the Woop Woop lineup of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz showcase their varietal representation with Aussie terroir being a focal point. All made in a light-to-medium bodied style, these wines are perfectly suited to year-round consumption.
