WHY WE LOVE IT
- The wines of the Bernkasteler Badstube are grown on very steep south pointing Devon slate vineyards in the picturesque Mosel valley of Germany.
- A picture book Spätlese! RS 90 g/l. 150 cases produced.
Varietal Composition: 100% Riesling
Elaboration: The wine is spontaneous fermented and aged in small steel or wooden casks (1000 litres).
Tasting Notes: Clear precise and elegant with a nose of white and yellow fruit and herbs. This classic release has a juicy grape sweetness with great elegance and finesse. In the finish it leaves a marvelous feeling of concentrated fruit and minerality and a desire for the next sip.
