- Abruzzo (historically plural Abruzzi) is an Italian wine region located in the mountainous central Italian region of Abruzzo along the Adriatic Sea. The star grape varieties of the area are the native red Montepulciano and white Trebbiano.
Varietal Composition: 100% Montepulciano
Tasting Notes: The color is intense ruby red with shades of violet. The flavor is red fruity. Taste is dry, sapid and a little tannic.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND
Arione Mario winery, named after its creator, was founded in 1953 in the city of Canelli, located in the Piedmont region, in the province of Asti, in one of the best wineries in Italy. The winemaking traditions laid down by Arion Mario were passed down from generation to generation. Now the farm is managed by the son and grandson of Arion Mario, representing the third generation of the family.
