Luchador Tempranillo

Luchador Tempranillo

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • Toro is a town located on a fertile high plain northwest of Madrid. It is the perfect region for Tempranillo in this style, with high elevation, hot days and cool nights.
  • The original motto of the wine was “Body Slam Your Tongue!” And that is still the philosophy of the wine. The aim is to make a wine that is bold, and big and makes an impact.

Varietal Composition: 100% Tempranillo

Elaboration: Luchador Tempranillo is created from old vines, 60-65 years old. Bush vine trellising and head trained. The soils are tertiary age, sandy, with pllocene clay subsoils.

Tasting Notes: Soft, supple, rich and complex. Super dark color, big rich texture, mouth filling, blueberries, blackberries, leather, earth, with a long complex finish.
