Yves Cuilleron Crozes-Hermitage Lieu-Dit-Les-Châssis

Cuilleron Crozes-Hermitage Lieu-Dit-Les-Châssis

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • Cuilleron Crozes-Hermitage Lieu-Dit-Les-Châssis is from a single-plot from the town of Mercurol.
  • The soils are stony Quaternary alluvium.

Varietal Composition: 100% Syrah

Elaboration: Cuilleron vinifies their different plots separately to allow the typicity of each terroir to be expressed. The wines thus obtained were then blended in order to give each vintage its own identity.

Tasting Notes: The color is a deep and intense red. The nose is complex and powerful with notes of spices and licorice. The palate is round, delicious and powerful, the tannins are spicy and subtle.
