Domaine Brunet Chinon

Domaine Brunet Chinon

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • The Domaine Brunet Chinon is grown in a semi-oceanic climate with three main types of soil, terraces on the banks of the Vienne river, which are composed of gravel and sand, hillsides and mounds composed of yellow tufa and plateaus and mounds composed of flint clay and sand.

Varietal Composition: 100% Cabernet Franc

Elaboration: Harvesting at high maturity (mid-October or even end of October). Vatting in concrete tanks. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks at 25-30°c to extract the finest tannins. Malolactic fermentation.

Tasting Notes: Intense cherry red color. This wine has a nose of red fruits (raspberry, redcurrant, cherry). Its liveliness and freshness make it a wine to drink now. Very supple and silky tannins.
