Tenuta di Ghizzano Il Ghizzano Bianco
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Organic certified. Biodynamic and vegan friendly.
- The vines are located at Loc. Ghizzano – Municipality of Peccioli (Pisa), Italy.
- Il Ghizzano Bianco is a very drinkable wine, simple but pleasant, to accompany, in the spring and summer seasons.
Varietal Composition: 50% Vermentino, 30% Trebbiano, 20% White Malvasia
Elaboration: Grapes are hand-picked and meticulous sorted. The Trebbiano and Malvasia Bianca grapes are left on their skins for a whole night before pressing to extract more character and then are fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks for 3 months.
Tasting Notes: The aromatic fruit of Vermentino is enriched by the strong character of Trebbiano and balanced by the texture of Malvasia Bianca. Lively and fruit-forward with good structure.
