La Tour du Bois Bourgogne Chardonnay

La Tour du Bois Bourgogne Blanc

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • The regional appellation Bourgogne, Pinot Noir, is probably the best introduction to the world of Burgundy red wines and provides a fine example of the authentic expression of this grape variety.
  • Chardonnay has its roots in Burgundy and is a cross between Pinot Noir and Gouais Blanc.
  • Around 8,000 hectares of vines are dedicated to producing the regional AOC Bourgogne Blanc.

Varietal Composition: 100% Chardonnay

Elaboration: Mechanical harvest. Partial destemming, fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Aged 12 months in French oak barrels, (20%).

Tasting Notes: Brilliant golden yellow color. Expressive citrus aromas. Full, fresh and tangy on the palate. A good introduction to Chardonnay from Burgundy.
