Varietal Composition: Grenache, Syrah, Merlot, Cinsault

Elaboration: The terroir of the vineyard is clay limestone soils.  Mechanical harvesting. Low temperature pressing with gas inerting. Must fermented and short matured in temperature controlled stainless steel vats on fine lees to preserve freshness and fruits aroma. Elaborated according to kosher rules and under the
supervision of sworn rabbinical delegates who carry out all the manipulations from harvest to bottling The cellaring time is 2 years.

Tasting Notes: Fruits dominate on the nose, with aromas of white and red fruits. Round in the mouth with lots of volume on the palate and a lovely freshness on the finish.

Château La Coste produces organic wines from Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence and IGP Portes de Méditerranée. Covering some 200 hectares, the estate boasts a wine-making tradition dating back to Roman times, in a remarkable setting featuring vineyards, cypresses, stone pines, olive trees, and oaks.

Inspired by the exceptional terroir, Château La Coste uses organic processes and applies biodynamic principles, prioritizing quality over quantity. In 2009, Château La Coste’s wines were given the “Organic Farming” label, which acknowledges the estate’s respect for the land and for practicing farming methods in perfect harmony with nature.
