Marcelo Pelleriti

A world-renowned winemaker, Marcelo Pelleriti, has produced vintages for prestigious wineries in France and Argentina. Marcelo Pelleriti Wines is his personal label for his Malbec, as well as his red and white blends. The winery is located in La Consulta, Valle de Uco in the heart of Uco Valley, Mendoza, known as the most important wine region in Argentina and throughout Latin America.

Splitting his time between France and Argentina, he has achieved winemaking acclaim in both countries. Yet, in 2007, his relentless passion drove him to found his namesake label in the same place, where as a child, he and his grandfather would tread grapes to make homemade wine.

His 110-year-old farm benefits from an ideal climate, including a high elevation, rich alluvial soil, limited irrigation, and more than 250 sunny days per year. Elevation ranges from 900 to 1,200 meters above sea level. The average temperature of 57 degrees (F) varies significantly from day to night. These conditions, perfect for fruit maturations and concentration, result in wines of rich color, intense aroma, and rich texture.
