Tenuta di Sesta Brunello di Montalcino “Notedincanto”
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Notedincanto is produced in the Southern part of the territory of Montalcino. The fruit is sourced from their best Estate vineyards which sit at an elevation of 280 – 350 m above sea level with southern exposure.
- This area is located between Sant’Angelo in Colle and Castelnuovo dell’Abate and this land is considered the most suitable for the production of Brunello di Montalcino.
- The vineyards are sheltered from the cold northern winds and benefit from the warm stream of air from Maremma, providing a mild microclimate.
Varietal Composition: 100% Sangiovese Grosso
Elaboration: Aged in Slovenian oak barrels for 36 months; 12 months in stainless steel containers, refinement in bottle: 4 months.
Tasting Notes: Ruby red color, with garnet hints with aging. The bouquet is intense, elegant, rich, with scents of mellow red fruit, spicy in notes of liquorice and tobacco. Dry, warm with velvet tannins, balanced, persistent and elegant.
